Not really. What about the ability to send kernel output to the printer.
Yes 2.3.X does have such ability. What about a system with a serial
console and regular VT. Yes some PC motherboards are now starting
to support serial consoles. The ia64 machines have both I believe. Which
one do we send it to then.
