mixing a propietary-driven card such as nvidia (and possibly recent A=
TI=20
cards ??) with another card is a little bit tricky : I once did that=20
but I had to build two separate library trees in order to get each=20
dedicated libraries matching each running instances of XFree, each tr=
ee=20
with dedicated 3D libraries installed by their related drivers set.
remember that after you have to rebuild all trees each time a new=20
security hole is discovered around X (not that many, lately) it's a l=
ot=20
of work if you compare with having one single almost regular binary s=
et=20
by using two cards sharing the same drivers.
building those two trees is part of this (obsolete but full of ideas)=

unless someone has a better idea for efficiently mixing ati and nvidi=
a=20
on the same machine ?
