Sounds along the lines of what I was email. I have it below.
Check the VGA Palette Snoop mode bit in its PCI config space
(PCI config byte 4, bit 5), or see if it has IO-enabled
(PCI config byte 4, bit 0) AND doesn't have any IO-space BARs.
MS: (n) 1. A debilitating and surprisingly widespread affliction that
renders the sufferer barely able to perform the simplest task. 2. A disease.
