Sorry I have been away for awhile. First the holidays and second the
amount of code I have been working on. As you can see I have almost
finished the universal scrollback code. It still has a few problems that
I need to resolve but it is a important step to allow the removal of low
level driver hacks to support this feature (vgacon and fbcon). This means
we can soon begin work on rewriting the fbcon layer. I have synced are
tree with 2.4.0 :-) so give it a try.
