Hi!
I would like to run *Backstreet Ruby* with Debian Woody (=stable) but the Debian binary package is Sid (=unstable) so the libc6 libraries (and more...) won't match.
So I will compile X 4.3.0 from scratch.
Looking at xf86-430-prefbusid3.diff I note it changes xf86pciBus.c and so does 4.3.0-4.3.0.1.diff which is the X 4.3.0 updates patch.
I haven't got all the files together so I am jumping the gun, as usual, and this may have been posted too ;-) , but does the prefbusid3 patch (only source patch I saw) apply to 4.3.0 or 4.3.0.1?

PS And I can see if postings reach lycos, I am getting tired of care2 and their full page advertisements preferrably after you check all sorts of files to delete so you have to do it all overe again...
