DPMS problem

Hi,

I got multiconsole with evdev working (again).
No kernel-patches,no modules. But the second
consoles screen doesn't wake up if it enters a dpms mode (suspend/off...).

Any clues how to solve this? Actualy disabling dpms helps but saving
energy would be cool.

This is what killed my multiseat project, and I never found a solution 
to it, including disabling DPMS and all other powersavings.  Screens 
would still go to sleep and never wake up.

I haven't tried any of the latest multiseat projects yet (no hardware or 
space atm), but I get the impression that things like faketty have 
solved (or worked around) the problem in some form.

Nope, disabling dpms works here. But my wife still forgets to turn off 
the monitor...
