please try to catch the boot messages trough serial console,
see [linux source]/Documentation/serial-console.txt
if you have web space put the captured messages &
the kernel configuration file uncompressed there
(for easy online reading)
if not send them per mail compressed
i assume you didn't use the default red-hat kernel configuration
and that could be the reason, but without more info,
can not say anything :-)
(so please also try to rebuild the bruby kernel with the
default for redhat configuration file)

PS.
until you get bruby running,
do move "/bin/sysfont" to "/bin/sysfont.bak" or similar,
to avoid oopses for clear messages,
later we'll fix the problem in one or other way
