right, but consider that wacom is a project started when Linux Input
infrastructure isn't already enabled... so Xinput was the only best solution
for that time.
Note that nowday LinuxConsole project have:
- linux kernel part ( GPL license )
- xfree part ( XFree86 license )
and xfree part enable Linux Input => XInput interfacing, only for XFree86 3.3
release, but I am writing 4.0 ver and I hope to finish in few days.
Seems that an XFree86 license is the best solution for parts of software that
are near to the XFree itself, so a merge is possible...
but if y think that is possible to make an linux input instead of an xinput
for aiptek serial vers. y can license under GPL without problem.
