hackvideo on 2.6.11-mm patchset

Do I still need to have 1 echoed out to /proc/bus/pci/hackvideo  with
the 2.6.11-mm set?

I was checking out the rc4 patches from the website and after
rebooting /proc/bus/pci/hackvideo was no longer there.

The preferred solution is patching the X server now.
The hackvideo solution was just that, a temporary hack.
It won't be accepted into the mainstream kernel, anyway.

and just to be sure I am up to the current level, the correct patch  for
the server is the isolate_device patch ?
