Many many times I have been working on the console and I have wished that the Linux scrollback worked simlarly to the FreeBSD scollback (the scrollback is not lost when you change consoles)....I really really wish there was a way to keep the scrollback history from being 'wiped' when I swtich off a perticular console and onto another....and I also wish I could specify how many lines of scrollback the history should save.......SO, is there any way to do either of these? Do they fall within the scope of this project (if no, then sorry)? Can you point me in the right direction?
