Definitely, we can work together on this to have a really good implementati=
on :)

(2.6 kernels are already accused of being 'unstable' - ccache to
mainline is highly improbable even if we come up with a dream
implementation. But, I think, we can definitely come up with nice way
of distributing it (as LiveCDs ?) to make it more popular if we really
come up with a good implementation ;)

I'm on #linux-mm-cc as nitin.

Presently, I'm tyring to get a bare-bones implemetation for what I
have written (especially for handling page cache pages).
Please post your comments on that design doc to lc-devel so that we
can have discussion on it.

It is unfortunate that mailing list archives show 'ccache - initial
design' mail as empty message (though lc-devel members have received
it correctly) -- this could otherwise have been available to
non-members also and chance to get feedback from other developers too.

While researching on ccache, please post anything intersting you find
to lc-devel so that we can discuss it. A general article on ccache
would be nice too :)

Also, it's really unfortunate that Rodrigo will not be working on this
project. Although that would have been really helpful (and fun) but
that should not stop us working on this with full spririts :)
