Yes it simply happens again and is reproduceable on 2.4.18. I found my 
machine went so unstable even using 2.4.17 with mem=128M (wihtout 
compressed cache but it did not oops) . I think there might be some 
problem using mem=128M, do you know is there any issues my doing this?
