Hi,
Using CompCache with Live Cds is a very good idea, I 'll try it and give you feed back about my experience with it :).
The SwapReplay is very useful for the project. but is it available with the compcache-0.3 package or it's not yes included?

Swap Replay code is not included in tarball. It is available in SVN.
You can refer SwapReplayDesign wiki page for information on its
individual components.
