[lc-devel] Patch 2.4.18-0.23pre8 problem

Hi,
    I've tried to patch the pre8 into 2.4.18 kernel but fail. Some of the 
files cannot be saved.

Do you have any idea when is this going to fixes?
Btw, I've look at the stats and it really amazed me. I can't wait to get the 
pre8 to work.

p/s: I think your website status in Source Forge should be put Beta rather 
than Alpha.
By this way, it will convience many more people to try and to give feedback 
such as bugs and motivation. It will speed things up a little bit. I've 
asked many people around. Most of them heard the word 'Alpha', there're 
disappointed no matter how good the software is.

I tried it now and indeed there are some problems. Some forgotten
printks() in vanilla files are the cause of these rejects. I rediffed
the patch and now it is supposed to apply.

Already fixed. It's available on the website.

i don't have any problems so far for my patchset wolk which is based on 2=
=2E4.18=20

Many users of wolk also uses compressed cache and almost all have no prob=
lems=20
with it :)
