Version 0.1 CTP1.8 - a more usable release

Version 0.1 CTP1.8 is now available to download. This is a more usable release than the previous ones, thanks to the many new improvements and some bugfixes. The most important new feature is the functionality of the command line. This way programs can be executed from Linux Commander. The other most important feature is the "F4 Edit" functionality, thus content of files can be viewed easily from Linux Commander. For this it uses gedit. The shortly coming new release will enable you to choose the editor you want to use from Linux Commander.

Next CTP is coming soon with a lot of new features

Version 0.1 CTP2 will have a lot of new features, and is coming soon. The most important new feature will be the functionality of the bottom command line.

Version 0.1 CTP1.5 - corrections and improvements

Version 0.1 CTP1.5 corrects some problems you could experience at compiling and installing the previous version of Linux Commander. This version also brings some improvements and new features. Watch ChangeLog for details.

Version 0.1 CTP1 is now available

The first "Community Technology Preview" version of Linux Commander has arrived. As a CTP release, the software's functionality is quite limited, but development is in progress. So check for new versions often.
