Humm I found one strange think from my point of view:

In /etc/linuxcoe-sd/linuxcoe.rc I have:
# FTP_PATH - where the bootable images are made available for download
FTP_PATH @ftppubdir@/LinuxCOE/images

Is that normal ?

Then looking for the '@' in linuxcoe installed files, I found some other
unexpanded macros:
