Well the other advantage I see (I'm a former Software Engineering
Consultant ;-) is that I can maintain easily a core .spec/rules file and
just derive what needs to be changed for the various distro. But it
allows me to keep common all what is common (and it represent most of
the code in those build files).

Humm good stuff. So it means IIUC that the packages will provide a tool
that allow us to generate the Image Environement on the waystation as it
has the required files, or from the tar file on another machine.
But I won't require those files on the build system, then is that right
?

Great. Would you mind posting them here, so that I can integrate them in
the pbconf dir under CVS and be ready to use them asa the rest is in
place ?
