Configuration: CentOS 2.6.9-34.ELsmp
Firewire card: Via chip VT6306
External HD: Maxtor firewire 800
The OS is running on SATA drive, and keyboard, mouse
are USB only, there are no PS2.
Firewire card is recognized, but the external
firewire disk is not recognized. With USB its ok.
I tried with CentOS plus and Oracle's firewire RPM
modules compiled for this specific config.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
