Can we assume that some people have no idea where there
kernel source code is? Or how to build it? Or how to
handle the inevitable error messages when the steps
you've provided don't work.

I just want my drive to work on fedora. Can't I just
download an rpm or something? can't we make a simple
installation for newbies?
