I have done some improvements with eth1394 driver and
ohci1394
lowlevel driver. Now I can reach High speed data
transfer.

For exemple, I can download large files such as
20Mbytes 
In 5 seconds, just look :

ftp> mget j*
mget jdk1_2_2-linux-i386.tar.gz? y
200 PORT command successful.
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for
jdk1_2_2-linux-i386.tar.gz (21580986 bytes).
226 Transfer complete.

I also would like to ask if someone know a way to
build an UNIQUE HW
address of 6 bytes, by using some kind of unique ID
obtained from IEEE
1394 cards.

This would be a better solution instead of using nodes
number.
