PCMCIA 1394 cards

I've not seen anything in this list (or the PCMCIA project pages)
about PCMCIA 1394 cards. Are any known to be supported/ are there
plans to support them? Is this an issue for PCMCIA, or for 1394 lists- 
or both? 

I have a WesternDigital 1394 PCCard, and would like to use it under
Linux. I installed the 1394 kernel patch, but the card isn't
recognized by the card manager. Does anyone have any experience with
this specific card?
