I was busy learning the last week, but I should be able to work more on the subsystem again... I have put some code to collect GUIDs from connected nodes on CVS. It is not complete yet, but it works somehow. On a bus reset, the code reads the GUIDs from all connected active nodes and stores them in a list. Entries in those list can be referenced through a function and used to fill in the target address in a hpsb_packet. As said it's not complete yet, things missing: - Doesn't work reliably with multiple 1394 cards in the system. - No way to dereference/free handles yet. - Should retry transactions. - Reliable node offline report. - Some interface from raw1394 It should give a first idea of how to lock on a node with a certain GUID. This would be especially interesting to the folks implementing SBP-2. -- Andreas E. Bombe <and...@mu...> DSA key 0x04880A44 http://home.pages.de/~andreas.bombe/ http://linux1394.sourceforge.net/ |
