Regarding webcams (pyro) and digital cameras.

I'd like to clarify something... are video cameras like the pyro which
send uncompressed data supported by any applications? I understand that
Sony also makes quite a few of these video cameras as well. Secondly, how
about digital cameras like the Nikon D1? It takes still pictures but can
also capture video... although in what format I'm not sure.
