ip1394 and cardbus

Hello,
I have a laptop with a cardbus and a desktop pc with a pci ohci 1394
card.
Both have 2.2.16 kernels with ieee1394-2.2.16-20000616 patch.
Laptop have also pcmcia last version and pcmcia ieee patch.
Both works fine with a sony digital camera.
I want to try ip1394.
It seems to work on the desktop pc. (module loads and a local ping
works).

When I try to load ip1394.o (insmod ip1394.o) on the laptop, I have a
segmentation fault and lsmod tells what ip1394.o is initializing.

Any ideas ?
