RE: what video editing software ?

I am currently working (as time permits) on a small DV editing program. 
See: http://www.schirmacher.de/arne/kino/ .

The basic idea is a small editor that accepts both menu and keyboard 
commands and can do batch processing. See the requirements.txt for basic 
concepts.

The other program I am using is ULead VideoStudio, since it came for free 
with my card, it does the job but it is a bit tedious to use with many long 
files.
