Changes to the FireWire kernel drivers in Linux 3.10

Hi all,

about three weeks ago, Linux kernel 3.10 has been released with the
following changes to the IEEE 1394 subsystem:

firewire-net:
  - added support for IPv6-over-1394 compliant with RFC 3146
    (final implementation by YOSHIFUJI Hideaki, initial work and
    further verifications by Stephan Gatzka)
  - release isochronous reception DMA context at ifdown
  - fix small memory leak at shutdown

firewire-ohci:
  - fix the longstanding failure to receive video on VIA VT6306 with
    gstreamer, MythTV, and maybe dv4l
    (debugged and fixed by Andy Leiserson)
  - fix a startup issue with Agere/LSI FW643-e2
    (debugged and fixed by Peter Hurley)
  - fix controller removal when controller is in suspended state
  - improved error logging 

The VT 6306 and FW643-e2 fixes should apparently also be backported into
3.x-longterm kernel series.  This hasn't happened yet partially due to
a current shortage of spare time on my part, partially because I prefer
to give these changes some more time of exposure in the current stable
3.10.x and main 3.11 series.
