PowerPPC Firewire Support?

 Is there firewire support for Linux PPC on Apple hardware such as the
cube or teh noteboks? Anyone had luck?

No one seems to be able to get it work, but it should be very close to
working. Someone that is not an official member of the project is working on
it, so we'll wait and see....
