Hello,

I have a RedHat 8.0 and I installed kino-0.6.1-pn1.
I have a VIA ieee1394 chipset:

# result of a lspci:
# 00:11.0 FireWire (IEEE 1394): VIA Technologies, Inc.
IEEE 1394 Host Controller
# (rev 46) (prog-if 10 [OHCI])
# Subsystem: VIA Technologies, Inc. IEEE 1394
Host Controller
# Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 32,
IRQ 11
# Memory at d8003000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable)
[size=2K]
# I/O ports at ec00 [size=128]
# Capabilities: [50] Power Management version 2

I can drive my camcorder (recognized by the AVC lib)
but I can't see the video flow. I could one time but it
lasted a few second.

# tail /var/log/messages

When I do a lsmod, I see thet the video1394 module is
not used

# Module Size Used by Not tainted
# video1394 14688 0 (unused)
