I aquire from camcorder with the settings reported at
the end,
but te result is bad because of some lines of old
frames on news frame.
Only when the scene isn't not in motion, I can aquire
goods image.
I think that dvgrab or some library doesn't read all
frames,
even if it sais that it aquires all ones, but create
some frames
toking some lines of the frame before and some lines of
the next one.
For exemple see the images in exemples.tar.gz ;
exemple_bad1.jpeg is
a image of when the scene is in movment,
exemple_good1.jpeg when it isn't.
The other two images are other two exemples.
I also try to run dvgrab as root with priority -20,
without any other
process as X, and the cpu load is about of 5 per cent.
I also use kino, but the result is the same.
I think that aren't problems of memory, cpu or disk,
because of the tests
I make also because the camcorder and other things
works great on windows 2000 Pro
with Adobe Premier 6; but I'm not happy to use windows'
commercial and not flexibil
programs.
I have
*FireWire (IEEE 1394): Texas Instruments TSB12LV26
IEEE-1394 Controller (Link)
