Hello,

There are probably two problems with my IEEE1394
hardware.
I have a no-name 3,5" extrnal enclosure with a MAXTOR
harddrive
(80GB 4D080H4) connected to a Fujitsu-Siemens laptop
(Amilo D).

1) with Linux the sbp2 module fails with a login
timeout
2) the drive disconnects somtimes by itself
The second problem occures under Windows ME and XP
also, but
it works stable if no network and USB cables are
connected.
It seems to be a hardware problem perhaps with the
IRQ
routing conflict (see dmesg output).

Kernel: 2.4.19-pre6
IEEE1394: latest from today's cvs

I just checked in a patch to the SVN repo for ohci1394 from
a friendly user, that should fix this problem. Let me know
    how it does for you.
