hi folx...
just bought a firewire-case and a harddisk and
unfortunately it does not work with linux. it runs fine
under windows XP.
sbp2 cannot log into the harddisk.
my config:
- ohci-controller from texas instruments (toshiba
satellite s3000-601)
- maxtor ide-harddisk 4G120J6
- ieee1394 firewire case with wise/ads-controller
- linux 2.4.18 with ieee1394-tree from the current cvs
- libraw1394 0.9.0-2 (debian woody)

I have an almost identical setup (Tosh Tecra 9000, 2.4.18
w/latest cvs bits as of 3/29, ide hd in Firewire case) and am
getting basically the same results. sbp2 login_failed.
I would be happy to supply any configuration files, outputs,
etc.. I have made 2 posts regarding this to the users list.

the macro in sbp2.c to enable dma- and orb-debugging..

Problem Solved.
A notice was posted to the ieee1394 list today about solving
the login problem.
I downloaded the latest bits and they work great.
