Looks like best way to install Linux on Visws now:
- extract hard dis from visws;
- connect it to some random PC;
- prepare boot partiotion (copy kernel and arclx.exe on it)
- install Linux;
- return the disk into visws;
This way isn't pretty :(( but it works. If you succeed with installation,
please mail me. We are in desperate need of kernel tester with Visws 540.

These are not your typical HD's.
The boot partition should be FAT correct?
Then copy arclx.exe and kernel to the partition.
Then install Linux. Correct.

Even FAT16 IIRC.

Right. And avoid long (non 8.3) filenames.
