That's possible - especially if you're using the 1600SW screen - in this case you have to tell the kernel to use this device (the old 2.2.10 was able to detect this) Add this to your kernel starting parameters in arc firmware: video=sgivw:monitor:1600sw > - a working kernel config file My one is at home... while i'm not at home...
