[linux-uvc-devel] Logitech C270 UVC Camera not working in 16.04

hi,

I have a media PC running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS - recent reinstallation from 
scratch.

Somewhere along the way I think I've installed something which allowed 
the open source drivers for my TBS6280 freeview tuner card to work.  Not 
sure if this is relevant, but my Logitech C270 webcam is not recognised 
by Cheese or Skype (but does appear in lsusb).
