It's not for today, it's for the future. When you refer to somehwere else then it's basically lost, useless. Just like the previous log message ("fix really hard to trigger bug in ntfs_delete") which doesn't say much useful to either users (they don't know what was fixed), nor developers (can't be check you fixed what you intended).
