Oh, yes, I think it is binutils. It would still be nice to find out
what is failing and whether the kernel can/needs to work around it...
The person who wrote the report emailed me with details and I asked for
the .s file for logfile.c so I can match up the line number to the
instruction but I have had no reply yet...
