I'm trying to resize the drive on my Compaq nc6000. It is a Fujistsu
MHT2060AH. =20
I've tried the latest versions of ntfsresize that are on Crash Recovery
Disk 2.4.21-ntfs; Knoppix 3.3; and, Rescue is Possible. I always get
the same message:
Example:
# ./ntfsresize --info /dev/hda1
ntfsresize v1.9.0
ERROR(2): ntfs_mount failed: No such file or directory
#
Depending upon the CD I booted from, or whether I copied the statically
linked v1.9.0, you can insert the appropriate version: v1.7.1, or
1.8.0-WIP, 1.9.0. They all give the same message.
Fdisk -l outputs:
Disk /dev/had : 60.0 GB, 60011642880 bytes
240 heads, 63 sectors/track, 7752 cylinders
Units =3D cylinders of 15120 * 512 =3D 7741440 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1 * 1 7751 58597528+ 7 HPFS/NTFS
This output is the same for all the versions I've tried.
Any help would be appreciated.
