Yes, that is certainly how the new driver would do it but the old ntfs
driver is still out there and there are several commercial ones and then
there is Captive-NTFS as well...

Cool. I will make the release sometime next week, lets say I will aim
for Wednesday but if I am too busy then it might remain for later during
that week or even the weekend.
