People CC: if they want potentially faster feedback or wish a somewhat higher probability for the email to arrive to the recipient (usually I do it out of habit based on whatever is set in the email headers). Sometimes emails get filtered out by some reason (e.g. some smart [spam] softwares), stuck for a while at the mailing list server (maintaince, virus outbrake, whatever) or the person filters to folders and check it once a week, etc. Szaka |
