Indeed. I meant moving, not touching them ($Boot is fixed at 0 sector and
must be continuous). If I didn't update $Boot, among others, then moving
$MFTMirr wouldn't work.

Yes, for defrag it doesn't make sense. My comments were in general.
ntfsresize always needed to update $Boot and preferably move all others
(e.g. moving $MFT still not done).
