Hi,
I thought I forward this information. Although many distros ship the
rewritten new driver, AFAIK, CRK is the only "boot Linux off a rescue CD"
that has the safe, version 2 driver, read-write enabled. This could be very
handy in many cases.

Subject: CRK v.2.4.21-ntfs with ntfsresize
Hoi,
Ik heb een nieuwe CrashRecoveryKit v.2.4.21-ntfs gereleased :
* 21 july 2003, To be able to resize your NTFS partition on your desktop
PC or laptop i created a new iso called crash2421-ntfs.iso which is
also based on RedHat 9. kernel 2.4.21 has been patched to include NTFS
driver v2.1.4a from http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/.
ntfsprogs-1.7.1-1 has also been added. These ntfs programs contain
the tool ntfsresize which performs the Non-destructive Resizing of an
NTFS Volume. I have tested ntfsresize a couple of times and sofar
it just has worked ok. a small HOWTO.ntfs has been added.
