Hi ,
My name is Martin. I was trying to mount my NTFS partition automaticaly
but there is something that did not work. When I add this line to
the /etc/fstab file:
dev/hda1 /mnt/windows ntfs ro 0 0
it works, but if I try to add a user, for example (slice4e) :
/dev/hda1 /mnt/windows ntfs ro, uid=slice4e 0 0
it does not work.
My NTFS driver is v1.1.22
Linux Version is 2.4.18-27.8.0
and NTFS - XP
I mounted ntfs manually. Then I tried to check my NTFS driver:
grep -i ntfs /var/log/messages
I got this message : Unknown option 'slice4e'
However I dont know if that is important since everything works when I do it
manually.
My main question is if you can help me set it up so that I can
mount automaticaly adding a user.
Thank you very much for your time and help.
Martin Dimitrov
