[Linux-NTFS-Dev] HostID field in PrivHead

I'm looking to be able to split mirrors and manage block level snapshots of 
dynamic disks.  Thanks to some pointers and the documentation help from 
this project I have a pretty good understanding of the LDM and know more or 
less what I need to do.  However, one field I'm sure I need to be able to 
modify is the HostID field in the PrivHead structure.

What I can't work out is where this guid comes from.  Can anybody tell me 
how Windows assigns that guid and where I might be able to find it 
elsewhere on a Windows system ?

Any answers greatly appreciated.
