Yes, it's much better from this point of view. It doesn't only have
resize but also understands the filesystem inside and resizes that one
as well (if supported).

For me it's completely pointless, I wrote if time permits I'm working
integration with parted since it understands the fs inside.

OK, I just noted they don't understand now why they must delete when
they only want to resize when it's safe to do. Of course, as I also
wrote before, from some point of view this can be seen as abusing
fdisk functionality.
