I happened to be looking through /var/log/messages and saw the
following:

ntfs_read_locked_inode(): BUG: Found compressed file with data_size not
equal to initialized_size. This will probably cause problems when trying
to access the file. Please notify lin...@li... that you
saw this message. Thanks!

The last line was repeated 9 times. If there is any more information a
can gather, let me know, I'ld be glad to help out.

FYI, the NTFS partition was formatted and used by Windows XP.
