Yes, cross-posting is a problem. An expert internet user has ways of
dealing with that, of course: e.g. a small procmail recipe can easily
filter out duplicates (based on the message id).

I'm not sure that all subscribers to my list would appreciate being
auto-subscribed to some other list; that would be a violation of
netiquette, IMO.
As I see it in the moment, the only people who care to run NTFS
mailing lists are the Linux people. it might be a good thing if that
changed - if you are not willing to host another list, and nobody else
steps forward, then nothing will change.
