[ 1702.759465] NTFS-fs error (device sda1): ntfs_put_super(): Dirty mft pages found at umount time. They have been thrown away. You should run chkdsk. Please email lin...@li... and say that you saw this message. Thank you. Hello, This message appeared when I unmounted /dev/sda1 which contains a fresh install of Windows 7. I had run the partition through chkdsk and mounted it once in Windows (without doing anything in Wiondows) just before I mounted it in Linux. After mounting /dev/sda1 I tried to copy all files to a FAT32 partition (failed, too many files) I also tried (simultaneously) to copy all files to a NTFS partition. (failed, permissions) I am trying to put Vista, Win 7 32 and 64 bit in the three primary partitions with Linuxes in partitions in the logical partitions. Regards Leif Asbrink |
