Hello,
I have a serios problem using ntfsresize:
1) I made an image from my partition with linux "dd"
2) There where 2 partitions on that image, the system image was the first one
3) I removed the second partition, the images was bootable in VMWare
4) with parted I removed all parttitions and recreated a larger first partition (same starting sektor), the image was bootable in VMWare
5) I used ntfsresize to resize the ntfs-filesystem:
losetup --offset 32256 /dev/loop0 /vmware/SBS-flat.vmdk
ntfsresize -s 73373155840 --no-action /dev/loop0
ntfsresize -s 73373155840 /dev/loop0
losetup -d /dev/loop0
6) Now the image ist no more bootable, chkdsk tells about serios errors and a "dir c:" in the rescue-mode shows nothing
Do you have an Idea what I did wrong?
Thanks in advance
Holger
