Ah, I didn't know what "file" did to determine it so had no idea about
whether it would or not...

Ah, ok. I have never used any Fedora Core at all so didn't want to
make any assumptions...

Indeed. Then my initial suggestion still holds: check with disk manager
that it shows what you think you have done... Most likely your C:\Program
Files is in fact still on C: and not on /dev/hdb10.
