You say that you can't write new file on ntfs filesystem but a friend have told to me that there is an other gnu Reading/Writing ntfs project. his name is Captive (http://www.jankratochvil.net/project/captive/). As it's in open source, I don't understand why this project is not known and is not in the kernel ! Is it anything of bad in this project ? Why did you not you this source to writing file on ntfs ?
